For 1 breakfast serving:
- 50g jumbo rolled oats
- 125ml milk of your choice
- A handful of blueberries
- 2 tablespoons of Necta & Hive Jarrah honey
Cook the porridge as usual and then top with honey and blueberries. You could also add other toppings such as banana, chia seeds or nuts for extra crunch.
An alternative way to make porridge is to soak the oats in milk overnight, this allows the starch to break down and makes digestion easier. Mix the oats and milk and cover, leave in the fridge overnight. Then stir Necta & Hive honey into the frozen berries and cover, leave in the fridge overnight to defrost and let the flavours combine.
In the morning either warm the porridge or eat cold and spoon over the honey and berries for a deliciously tasty and super nutritious breakfast!
